Live Spot Prawns (Spot Shrimp) (8-12pcs/lb)

These sweet shrimp (amaebi) are caught off the San Diego coast in traps. We store them in our live tanks and carefully package them to ensure that they arrive fresh at your door. The delicious tails are eaten raw in sushi bars. The heads are deep fried to make them crunchy and eaten whole. Amaebi come in mixed sizes so there are anywhere from 8 to 12 shrimp per pound. Minimum order is 5 pounds
